So I would definitely learn from them regarding this way of living and being prepared for an apocalypse. On the other hand, I don’t know what you think about the religious aspect, because I did see stories on how difficult it gets to socialize with someone outside of the group or even marrie someone from the outside. And women’s rights are not that obvious either for the Amish. Anyway,we can learn from them for sure, thanks for your story staying with them!

Being prepared for a disaster is definitely one to think about when being hooked on technology for all our lives. I can certainly agree with that being too reliant on technology leads to being unprepared for the unexpected.

Having a strong community of people to cope with even when disasters strike can surely make all the difference in the world of knowing how to survive.
