The Great White Throne Judgment
“Then I saw a great white throne and him who was seated on it. From his presence earth and sky fled away, and no place was found for them. And I saw the dead, great and small, standing before the throne, and books were opened. Then another book was opened, which is the book of life.
And the dead were judged by what was written in the books, according to what they had done. And the sea gave up the dead who were in it, Death and Hades gave up the dead who were in them, and they were judged, each one of them, according to what they had done.
Then Death and Hades were thrown into the lake of fire. This is the second death, the lake of fire. And if anyone’s name was not found written in the book of life, he was thrown into the lake of fire.”
Revelation 20:11-15 ESV
All the information on this website is very good to make sure you are prepared for any situations that arrive here on this earth but this post is by far the most important one you will ever read.
Beyond being physically prepared we ultimately need to be spiritually prepared for the end times and be ready to meet our maker. As you can see above everyone someday will stand before our creator and give account for our lives on earth. Here is a diagram that explains it well.
Here Is How you can be Spiritually Prepared For The End Times
The Problem…..
God originally designed us to live with him in the garden of Eden. Adam and eve walked with him and lived a life without suffering and pain. They were told they could eat of anything in the garden except the tree of knowledge of good and evil. Satan being jealous of man tricked eve and then adam into disobeying God and so sin entered the world.
Sin is anything we think, say, or do that goes against God’s design for us. When sin entered the world It caused brokenness. We don’t like brokenness so we do anything we can to make it better i.e. money, sex, drugs, power, and success etc. The problem is these things work for a while but ultimately we find ourselves back in the brokenness.
God’s Solution……
The bible tells us in Romans 6:23 that the wages of sin is death. So we have all earned the punishment of death because also in Romans 3:23 we are told that ALL have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. We are all in the same boat. Here is God’s answer to our problem. This is kinda long but well worth the read.
“For while we were still weak, at the right time Christ died for the ungodly. For one will scarcely die for a righteous person—though perhaps for a good person one would dare even to die— but God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. Since, therefore, we have now been justified by his blood, much more shall we be saved by him from the wrath of God.
For if while we were enemies we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, now that we are reconciled, shall we be saved by his life. More than that, we also rejoice in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have now received reconciliation.
Therefore, just as sin came into the world through one man, and death through sin, and so death spread to all men because all sinned— for sin indeed was in the world before the law was given, but sin is not counted where there is no law. Yet death reigned from Adam to Moses, even over those whose sinning was not like the transgression of Adam, who was a type of the one who was to come. But the free gift is not like the trespass.
For if many died through one man’s trespass, much more have the grace of God and the free gift by the grace of that one man Jesus Christ abounded for many. And the free gift is not like the result of that one man’s sin. For the judgment following one trespass brought condemnation, but the free gift following many trespasses brought justification.
For if, because of one man’s trespass, death reigned through that one man, much more will those who receive the abundance of grace and the free gift of righteousness reign in life through the one man Jesus Christ. Therefore, as one trespass led to condemnation for all men, so one act of righteousness leads to justification and life for all men.
For as by the one man’s disobedience the many were made sinners, so by the one man’s obedience the many will be made righteous. Now the law came in to increase the trespass, but where sin increased, grace abounded all the more, so that, as sin reigned in death, grace also might reign through righteousness leading to eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.”
Romans 5:6-21 ESV
The gospel, which means good news, is that God loved us so much that he sent His only Son to pay our penalty on the cross, so that if we turn to Him and ask His forgiveness we will be in a right relationship again.
I pray today that will ask God to show you that He is real and that you will be prepared to meet him on judgment day. Everyone will meet him that day the difference is will you meet Him as your loving savior or as a righteous judge.
Here is my personal testimony.
Hello,
My name is Robert and I want to share with you my personal story. I spent the majority of my teenage and early adult years chasing after all the things this world and our culture tell us will make us happy and fulfilled (money, girls, partying, power, entertainment, etc…..).
The problem was that I would feel fulfilled for a short while but at the end of the day would feel like something was missing and there must be something more to life. Then one day a coworker invited me to his church. I went reluctantly because I believed that “Christians” were a bunch of fuddy-duddies that followed rules and didn’t know how to have fun.
When I got to church that day the pastor shared the story that changed my life. He explained that we were made by God and that we were meant to have a personal relationship with Him. The problem was that sin(anything we think, say, or do that goes against GOD) had separated us from HIM and we had no way of making that relationship right with him.
He then shared the good news that God made the way back to Him by sending his Son Jesus to die on the cross to pay for my sin, so that if I would accept that gift I would be able to be in a right relationship with Him. On that day I understood why I felt empty.
It was because I was meant to have a relationship with the one who created me. That day I accepted God’s gift of his Son and from that day forward He has been transforming me. I went from a womanizing drug dealer to a loving husband and father.
Don’t get me wrong, life still gets hard at times but the difference now is that God is right there walking with me through it all. I pray that you will ask the Lord to show you he is real. Thank you for reading my story and I pray that one day you will be able to share the story of how GOD changed your life with others also.
