Just to give you a reference I have a honda civic coupe and still have plenty of space in the trunk with these things in it. Hope that helps. Also I agree that everyone’s situation is different but one thing to consider is that you may have to go out of town suddenly or you never know when and where an emergency situation may occur. Which goes back to our motto. NOT SCARED ALWAYS PREPARED…..

What a great idea, but doesn't this all take a lot of room in a small boot? However I really believe one should always have a good first aid kit, a battery charger and an air compressor handy, as you just never know when you will need them.

The survival backpack is also a great idea, but unless you travel out of town a lot or away from main roads, I don't think this would be necessary to carry around with you every day as you do your errands around town,

Hopefully you will never have to use the kit but just like insurance it is nice to have just in case.

Thank you very much for this valuable detailed post about Emergency car survival kits. Actually, the survival kit in my car is useless. I was actually looking to buy a good one. You have recommended good car survival kits. I think they are very good. I will definitely buy. Keep posting like this.
